Federation Water Charter
In December 2003, Canada’s Premiers announced the creation of the Council of the Federation to encourage collaborative interprovincial-territorial cooperation and show leadership on issues important to all Canadians.
On August 26, 2010, Premiers endorsed the Council of the Federation Water Charter, recognizing the collective obligation of Canadians and their governments to be responsible water stewards.
The Government of Saskatchewan, through Water Security Agency, is helping to promote this very important Charter.
