Lower Souris River Watershed
In 2006, residents of the Lower Souris River Watershed through the Lower Souris River Watershed Advisory Committees and other agencies, completed the first Source Water Protection Plan in Saskatchewan.
The Lower Souris River Watershed Source Water Protection Plan contains key actions, recommendations and objectives that will help protect source water within the Lower Souris River Watershed. The Lower Souris Watershed Stewards have been entrusted with the implementation of the plan, and work is now underway to carry out the recommendations and key actions in it.
